Rating Summary
My husband and I were recently in Noblesville, IN and went out to dinner with some extended family. A bit of research ahead of time brought a few restaurants to our attention. I’m so glad we ended up choosing Grindstone Public House!
Grindstone Public House is a single-location eatery situated in historic, downtown Noblesville. This restaurant is under the umbrella of Clancy’s Hospitality which has five additional, unique eateries. Grindstone Public House serves elevated American fare along with craft cocktails - all made from quality ingredients they take pride in selecting.
The main menu offers a large variety that answers to just about every penchant and specifically calls out dishes that are readily available as gluten free, taking some of the guess work out of ordering. Vegetarian and even a few potential vegan choices (which includes dairy free prospects) are fairly easy to identify, thanks to clear descriptions on most items and an opportunity to double check with the kitchen. The full bar has plenty of traditional and creative ways to imbibe. The dessert menu looked incredible and even had specialty cocktails, although unfortunately there were no obvious treats for anyone with gluten or dairy concerns.
Our server had such a great disposition and was thorough in taking our orders. This kept the process stress-free, efficient, and the deliverables accurate. I also noticed there were a number of support staff members actively working in the dining room while thoughtfully making sure guest needs were met.
The easy setting and sincerity in service made us feel more like old friends rather than new customers. Everyone in our party chose something different to eat and drink and none of us were disappointed. It was all truly delicious and we hope to return to Grindstone Public House soon!
